  • Manuscript Submission Events
    • Confirmation of successful manuscript submission.
    • Notifications confirming critical manuscript actions such as unsubmission, deletion, or withdrawal.
  • User Account Changes
    • Notifications when an account is updated or removed.
    • Includes user-requested account deletions or administrative changes.
  • External System Integration Triggers
    • Events generated by integration points with external systems.
  • Author/Reviewer Invitation Activity
    • Notifications related to invited authors or reviewers accepting or declining participation.
    • Useful for tracking engagement and workflow progress.
  • Export and Transfer Outcomes
    • Alerts when manuscript data is successfully exported or transferred to an external system.
    • Includes both automated and manual exports.
  • Other System-Generated Events
    • Covers additional triggers such as checklist updates, automated tasks, or metadata synchronization.

Each System Event Notification delivers a standardized message payload, which includes:

  • Common metadata elements
  • Event-specific fields that provide context and status details.
