• This API endpoint allows users to programmatically assign editors to manuscripts within ScholarOne Manuscripts. It supports automated assignment workflows by creating assignments based on person, document, and task identifiers, and works in tandem with existing endpoints like getEditorAssignmentsByDate and getSubmissionInfoFull.
